They had 4 sons and three daughters. The life of John Pascoe is well recorded, not least because he became an Admiral in the Brazilian navy having earlier fought for their independence under Lord Cochrane. He also lived for some time in Liverpool. He is buried in Paris. His direct descendants were often significant figures of their time in politics, industry and the armed forces. John Pascoe's brother was my great grandfather, Rev Algernon Sidney Grenfell (1804-45) who married (1835) Maria Guerin Price. Frank Grenfell Notify Administrator about this message?
