Hi Michael, I just read an old posting of yours. Your name sounds familiar actually so I may have been in correspondence with you before. However, I've been out of genealogy for about 2 years and am jumping back in. Wilfred Grenfell, missionary, was my grandfather. I have been very anxious to connect my line with Grenfells who emigrated to the U.S. I was wondering if you could share the ancestry of your John Nicholas Grenfell with me to see if I can connect him with Grenfells I have in England. I have recently met a Grenfell at Church in Pennsylvania and it would be great fun to see if we can connect some of the U.S. Grenfells. It's not all that common a name. If you haven't seen Adrian Eddy's Cornish website, it has an astonishing number of Grenfell's on it. However, the only Grenfell's in it that I can connect with U.S. Grenfells seem to have a discrepancy which I can't unravel. Anyway, I'd love to hear from you.
