Hi Karen

I am also researching a Grala family. My grandfather, Bronislaw Grala arrived in America from Baba, Poland on 25 May 1909. The ship's manifest indicates he was going to his uncle Josef (Krsynowski sp?) in Housatonic, MA.

There were a number of Gralas living in and around the area when he arrived and I'm still trying to figure out how (or if) they are all related to each other.

When Bronislaw and his first wife, Teofilia Rogowski, met they were both living in Pittsfield, MA. Around the corner from him lived a Leonora Grala and an Adam and Mary Grala.

Happy hunting,

Judi Heit
