I am looking for any information relating to George Greiner born September 19, 1819 in Dingleipiel, Rheinbeir, Germany. He came to the United States with both his parents in about 1829 settling near Buffalo New York, next moving to Canada, where his mother died at the age of ninety years. About 1843 George came direct to Fremont, Sandusky, Ohio from Canada. In 1844 he went back to Buffalo, New York where he wedded on May 23 to Miss Mary (Maria) Anna Lauinger. They returned together to Fremont where they started their family. George was a well established blacksmith in Fremont.

Children of this union were:
George Greiner Jr. b. Apr 30, 1845 m. Mary Emma Ottney
John Adam Greiner b. Feb 2, 1847
Peter Greiner b. 1846 m. Mary Popp
Maria Anna Greiner b. 1852 m. Johann (John) Stoiber Jr.
Casper J. Greiner b. Aug 18, 1854
Sarah Louisa Greiner b. Apr 1859 m. Joseph Halm

If you have any information that you'd like to share or are interested in any info. I may have please contact me.
