Joseph Gregg and his wife Margaret (Irwin) Gregg were both born in Sligo County Ireland. They lived most of their lives in Harding, IL which was also known as Freedom Township..same place, LaSalle County IL. Both are buried in the Harding cemetery. Anne Gregg Goodman is buried in the same place. The family also lived in Rodman, Jefferson County, New York before they moved to Harding. Joseph Gregg's brothers Robert Gregg and Daniel Gregg (and their families) also lived in Rodman - or later in nearby Adams - all in Jefferson County, N.Y. Anne Gregg Goodman, known as "Aunt Annie" to my mother and aunts told "tales of the little people" of Ireland. Death certificates can be obtained from the LaSalle County genealogy guild. Anne Gregg Goodman's grandfather was Hugh Gregg of Drumcliff Parish, Sligo County.
