I think the Robert Gregg you are talking about was acutally the son of Henry Gregg (b 1774-d 6 Sept 1834) and Jane Dowler (d 4 Oct, 1834). Henry was one of the 3 brothers (John and William were the other 2) who migrated to Washington CO., (West Pike Run township), PA in 1785. 2 of their sisters also migrated with them ( Margaret and Ann). I have not really followed that line, since John is the ancestor I am interested in. I actually have a lot of information about the first generation descended from these 3 brothers. My information came from a family pedigree chart started by my grandmother Gregg's cousins, and added to by myself. I made a trip to Washington County, Pa a couple of summers ago and researched a lot of this information from Citizens' Library in Washington, PA and form the book " History of Washington County", by Crumrine (at the library and/or online). If you are interested, please e-mail me and I will send back what I have
