Seeking to identify Hubert C. Gregg, who was killed in the Battle of Mount Zion MO 28 Dec. 1861. He was buried at Clayton IL, aged 23. At Jasper Twp., Ralls Co. MO in 1860: Samuel L. Gregg, 23, b. NYS, farmer (0, $25A; Mary H. Gregg, 21, b. OH; Henry F. Gregg, 1, b. IL, and Hubert C. Gregg, 19, b. NYS. This Henry Gregg later appears at Sheffield OH in 1870 and Blue Rapids KA in 1880. Hubert's Bible has been found here in upstate New York.
