robert was my gggggg grandfather. he and his son samuel, my ggggg grandfather fought in the american revolution in vance's virginia regiment. robert died in greene county and samuel moved on to alabama.he applied for and received a pension of 33 bucks a year. i have a lot of info on the gregg family..rick gregg
