I want to apologize to everyone on this message board for allowing myself to be drawn into a heated discussion that had no place on this board.
I am not confrontational normally but I do always react to being attacked.
I posted a message on December 26 that I feel was rather innocuous wondering if perhaps my family was related to the Gregg's that rode with Quantrill's raiders. I did not mean to insult anyone and in reviewing my message I still fail to see why it was considered caustic.
I am at a brick wall with my Gregg family and am searching all avenues to learn where we originated from. I have been at such a loss that I have speculated from time to time hoping to ring a bell with someone whom I could possibly connect to.
I apologize once again for participating in this dialogue. I should have just ignored the attack.
