My grandmother, born in 1898, attended a school in San Marcos when she was young (I assume the San Marcos Baptist Academy). She had a camera, and while she was there, she took loads of pictures of her best friend, Manilla Greenwood.
My grandmother has passed on, and though those photos meant a lot to her, they mean little to us because we never met Manilla Greenwood. We believe that Manilla's descendants and/or family has more right to those pictures than we do.
If anyone out there can show a relationship to Ms. Manilla Greenwood who attended a school in San Marcos, Texas in the very early part of this century, please contact me at jkt54@yahoo.com
I would be happy to send Grandma's pictures of Ms. Manilla Greenwood to her family.
