Thanks for your posting.I'm also not related to this family, but see a posting from 1/22/03 from Charles Crook who appears to have this family line in his records.
I am interested in IL Greenways, as I have a John Greenway (~ 1850-1943) of Coventry, Eng and later NJ, who WALKED!as a young man from CT to OH to IL, so I'm keeping my eyes open for family names in these states.
Mayme, Maeme, Mame are all nicknames for Mary, as you know.My grandmother was Mary, and known by friends as Polly, but by her siblings ans Mame.
