I would also like info on Thomas.The handwriting on the marriage record copy has us unsure if Mary (b. 1813 Upton,Devonshire)was a Shopland or a Chapman. We seem to be talking about the same couple (married Clayhanger 1831). There were 4 children: Daniel b.1834 (my line); John b.1833; Sylvia b. 1841; Mary Ann b. 1837. We have info on Daniel (obviously)& Mary Ann; but nothing on John and only the marriage of Sylvia to Edward Phillip Kimmins.
A brother of mine had some candidates for Thomas's lineage but records are dubious....perhaps we can compare notes.
