Hi Robert
I'm still trying to check out the information I have but it's looking like William (1717) had 3 wives. I think the first marriage was to Frances Harmon in 1739, they had two children - Thomas b Aug 1740, and William b&d Sept 1742. He then married Susannah Shackles in Aug 1743, and they had 3 children - William b Jun 1745, John b Dec 1747, and Richard b&d Jul 1752. Finally, he married Mary Clark in Aug 1753, and they had 3 children - Elizabeth b May 1754, Richard b Sep 1755, and Frances b Sep 1757.
Thomas (1740) married Mary Pindar in 1769 and had grandma Hannah in 1770.
The John you told me about can't have been born 1767 and married Hannah Cooper in 1773 as he would only have been 6 years old, so which was the typing error?
Carole
