[[Notes by Laurie Dickinson Trask Mann, 1997]]

My mother had told me about William Greenleaf and the Penobscot connection. I am Mary Susan, daughter of Margaret Greenleaf of Gloucester, MA. Her father was Captain William Henry Greenleaf II. His father was William Henry Greenleaf, Captain of the ill fated Henrietta Greenleaf, sunk in a black gale off the Grand Banks. Have more information. Please respond.
