The date of wife Abigail's death is not apparent but the Boston Record of Marriages show that Nathaniel Coney of Stoughton was married in Boston by Rev. This unquestionably the third marriage of Nathaniel Coney, Sr., for his son Nathaniel was at that time married and living with his family in Stoughton. His name appears on the Rate List of Stoughten year after year till 1744 when he was assessed for the last imte. He probably died before the taxes for 1745 wer levied, and if so in the eightieth year of his age. Abigail Ager was daughter of Thomas Skinner, and widow of Ebenizer Ager.
