Trying to identify the location of a headstone which reads, "Sacred to the memory of William Sharp of H.M.S. North Star who departed this life November 1st 1849, aged 26 years." The photograph was taken in 1901 somewhere between Disko Island and Thule. I'm trying to find out the location and anything I can about the man, William Sharp, so that I can identify my photograph.
