Lori, I have in my records that Abigail Greenland Ireland whom is wife of William Ireland did have children at least one that I have whom is Abraham Ireland born you said 1672 or 1673 which ever now that would make his mother age 31. His father would have been age 24.This son Abraham of William Ireland & Abigail Greenland Ireland married the Abigail Durrant then they produced a son whom they also named Abraham that is married to Anne Bird. How did you say you preseved that William & Abigail Greenland had no children? That I don't see......? Please explain that to me again. Confused about that statement. Just because she is listed in her fathers will (John Greenland) as a married women does not mean she did not have any children sometimes the father does not provide for married childrens children or Grandchildren of that couple. Do you have a copy of the will? Do you find this Abraham that I speak abou? Son of Abigail Greenland & William Ireland?
Thanks Beth Remember there are two Abigails here first one is William's wife second one is Abraham's wife. Maybey the mix up comes with the William Jr. son of William maybe this William Ireland Jr. born Oct. 16,1655 was closer of an age to Abigail Greenlands birthdate too. Her's being 1641.Possibly the wives of William got mixed up? Or maybe he was also married twice? This is totally confusing isn't it? I wish I had the resources you have to look stuff up. Thanks very much! :) Beth Ireland
