Penny, I think you and I corresponded some time ago on the family. From a descendant of William Hugh Greenhaw I have this information tho I have not verified it myself but have similar info from several others. Jonathan and Rachel did not have a Goldsberry but they did have a Greenberry who married 1st Ann Lambert & 2nd Sarah Bridges. I don't show a son Goldsberry for either of these two wives. There is a reference to Goldsberry as being Greensberry's son by Ann Lambert in a book about the Ark Greenhaws which suggests his wife may have been Jacksy but according to the William Hugh descendants this is not true.Jonathan & Rachel had a son William who married Elizabeth Unknown they married 1800 and had a son Goldsberry who I suppose was b Limestone Co., Ala and died thereca 1840. This Goldsberry was married 1st to Unknown they had Caroline, William Hugh, Goldsberry Jr who married Catherine Green. Goldsberry Sr married 2nd Jacksy Carmody and had Sarah, Martha, Thomasberry, Catherine & Sara Jane. None of their pages lists a Banion tho. Now perhaps you can share some info that will help me. I am trying to find the parents of Sarah Greenhaw who married the French. They moved to TX and the census has her brother, Thomas M Greenhaw living with them. I only have the one child Goldsberry listed for Willism snd Elizabeth but I suppose it is possible they had others. Or I am wondering if this Sarah was the daughter of Goldsberry and Jacksy and the 'Thomas' listed in the census was actually Thomasberry shortened to TTmas. any ideas on it?
