I am looking for any info on Banion P. Greenhaw, born 1835 in Limestone Co or Madison Co. Banion was married to Mary Acqual Green. He had a sister named Caroline M. Greenhaw who married Thomas Walsworth in Limestone County. Eventually this family (Banion & sister Caroline & her family) migrated to Louisiana. From there, Banion eventually migrated to Arkansas and was there when he died. Banion's children were Elizabeth, Kate, William, Lula Dee, & John H., all of whom I have found in Louisiana. Several families, the descendants of Banion have been searching for years to find his parents or any info. I have the Greenhaw book, but can not find his parents, it's as if they almost didn't exist. I think that perhaps Banion may have been a son of Jonathon or his brother William. By chance did your William have a brother named Banion? I keep finding the name Gouldsberry, also Goldsberry with Banion's family. Would appreciate any info if you have any. Thanks!!! Penny M.
