Hi David

There is a mistake in your tree. William Greenhalgh did not marry Ellen Parkinson in 1854 as William was only born in 1844. The 1881 census shows your grandfather, Arthur as aged 7 yrs and William 37 and Ellen 39.
In 1871 Annie is aged 2 yrs and George 1 yr giving a marriage between 1865 and 1868 of which there are 4 possibilities but Ellen Miller in the Sept Q 1865 at Preston is my probability. To progress further with William would necessitate the pruchase of his marriage certificate to name his father and Ellen's.

Annie was born in 1868 in Preston
George was born in 1870 in Preston
Margaret Jane was born in 1872 in West Derby, Liverpool
Arthur was born in 1874 in 1874 in West Derby, Liverpool

Hope this helps
Peter
