I am looking for the parent of Mary/Mercy Greene who married John Hopkins in East Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island on 9 Oct 1732.
John Hopkins died in about 1795 and his will mentions that he signed his will on the twenty six day of August in the fifteenth year of Independence of America.
His will was recorded in West Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island. His will mentions his wife Mary Hopkins, names some sons , and names some of his grandchildren.
Mary Hopkins made her will 1795 and it was probated in 1806 in West Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island.
The literature would indicate that Mary Greene’s parents are John 3 Greene (Benjamin 2, John 1) and Mary Alysworth.
