Naomi Ruth Greene, 95, of Knoxville, TN, passed away at
Asbury Acres in Maryville, TN, March 31, 2009.
Born, March 31, 1913, in Halls, she was a member of
Lincoln Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and
Stella Greene; brothers, J. W. Greene, Charles Greene; and
sisters, Helen Greene, Mildred Miller, and Blanche Newberry.
Surviving are her sisters, Georgia Romines, Ruby Campbell,
Sue Portwood and husband David; and several nieces and
nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.,
Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain
City.
Family and friends will meet, 9:45 a.m., Friday, April 3,
2009, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at
10 a.m., with Rev. John Holland officiating.
