This is my first attempt at seeking information about my ancestors. My last name was Green. My grandfathers name was Archie weldon green. He married Gladys Hammrick from wills point texas. I have always thought we were of Irish decent but no proof. The reason this message caught my attention is the fact that they dropped the e and were not interested in ties with heritage. Any info anyone can share with me would be greatly appreciated.
