Nice to hear from you! William Greene and Nancy Justice Greene's daughter, Nancy was my GGGG grandmother. Nancy married Robert Armstrong 6/22/1787 in North Carolina. Do you have access to "Genealogical Serendipity" by J. Sharon Johnson Doliante? In it is made mention of your James and Sarah Hicks/Hix. It has quite a lot of information on the Greenes of Sangamon and Menard County Illinois. It does have some pictures of our "Greene Family",cousins! There is also a book entitled "Lincoln at New Salem" by Thomas P. Reep. Seems some of the Greene family were very tight with Abraham! Anyway thought you might like to know this. I do have both books but they may be available at your library through interlibrary loan? Lots of info in the Doliante book!
