Used wrong email: My ggggrandfather was Greenberry George McKenzie. There is no info on him prior to 1790 where he showed up in the tax lists for Wythe Co., VA. We figure that his first name was probably his mother's maiden name. He married Rebecca Blair, dau. of Thomas Blair. He was in the iron smelting business, a legislator from Grayson County, a road surveyor, and a sheriff that we know. Anyone with any info. please contact me. Thank you.
