Hi Debbie,
Are you sure that you are not biassed by the spelling of your own name as I have an Oliver GREENWAY, christened at Goodrich 26-10-1870, mother is Rhoda but no father. This is not one of my line but just one of thousands of different spellings in different parts of the country and of different events that I have noted, in this case from parish registers. One can only suppose that in this case he was illegitimate and that is perhaps the origin of his mother that you want to find. As a seperate event I have a Rhoda Greenway married at Monmouth (dist)1st qtr. 1876 to either Emanuel Hughes or William White from BMD.
