A Reverend David Green, born circa 1750, did reside in the Laurens District, South Carolina after the Revolutionary War and into the early 1810s....

he was the brother of Zachariah Green, who died in Laurens District, South Carolina, in 1793;

he was in the Ninety-Six and Pendleton areas during this period....

it is said his wife's given name was 'Leanna' Unknown, and some think her surname was OVERBY while others think it RUTLEDGE and neither is proved....

This Reverend David Green is thought to have had a son so named David Green, as well....and while there appears to be no will in any of these areas, he is suspected of having migrated into Georgia end of the 1810s.

We are certainly interested in learning more about this David Green family, as well!

Regards,
Milisia
