Because it's been well over a year since my last request like this,I want to reassure everyone I still need all family tree information relating to Green and Greene family of Point Verde,Placentia,Newfoundland,or sometimes elsewhere in Nfld. back in 1600s and 1700s.
If you have ant Green or Greene ancestry(same family) connected to Newfoundland in any century,please contact me and compare notes.
My Greens.Greenes were also in Boston area in 1700s and,apparently, New England area in 1600s. No, unfortunately we don't know which Greenes they were connected to.Three brothers...John,Robert,unknown.
Robert fought briefly on USA side in Revolution,and then in late 1778 John and Robert moved permanently to Placentia. All the huge Point Verde Greenes clan is descended from John Green and Mary Corbin Greene.
I estimate there are at least 10,000 descendants,living or dead, in USA by now. Someone must recognize this.I have so far accumulated 193 pages on the family,and happy to exchange information.Thanks.Ward.wardgreene@hotmail.com
