For all the descendants of Jeremiah Green, Revolutionary War Soldier and husband of Mary "Polly" Wiseman, there will be a dedication at his gravesite in Sugar Grove, NC on May 18th, 2008 at 2 pm.
This memorial event is presented by the Georgia and North Carolina Societies of the Sons of the American Revolution;
(Cherokee Chapter, GA, Catawba Valley Chapter, NC, Yadkin Valley Chapter, NC, and LTC Felix Walker Chapter, NC)
Descendants of Jeremiah Green are coming from many parts of the nation to attend this grave marker dedication. Meeting place will be the Western Watauga Community Center on old Hwy 421 at 2 pm prior to going to the gravesite.Those who wish to attend should contact Sanford "Sandy" Lyons at sandy@ellijay.com
