I am seeking information on JOSEPH MONROE GREEN, born 1833 in Alabama. Married Frances Drucilla Griffin August 4, 1858 in Texas. He served in the Civil War in the Texas Calvary (Confederate) and lost his arm in battle for which he received a pension. He lived in Bastrop, Lee and Williamson Counties. He had children: HENRY M. b. 1860; LAURA LETITIA b. 1861 (married STEPHEN BISHOP; MATHILDE b.1863; JOSEPH A. b 1869; WILLIAM b. after 1870; and WALTER E. b.1872.
