NEWFOUNDLAND now.....Boston 1770s

I have so far accumulated 181 pages on Point Verde, Placentia,Newfoundland Greenes/Greens. My GGG-GF,John Green, and his brother Robert, moved from Boston to Placentia,Newfoundland about late 1778.Robert fought briefly on USA side in Revolution.John and their father Michael,at least, were Quakers. Family may have been in both New England and Newfoundland since early 1600s,but definitely in both places in 1700s.
Any information or even clues would be welcome. I live in Australia so cannot do personal research. Also I would estinate there are many thousands of my unknown Green/Greene relatives in USA at present,as some of the family remained in USA after Revolution and the Nfld. branch has kept returning there since that time.If you have any connection to Newfoundland in the past, please contact me and swap information.Thanks.Ward.wardgreene@hotmail.com
