While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of a funeral notice on John T. Green. I'm posting it hoping it will be helpful to someone.

GREEN - The funeral of John T. Green was held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert H. Green, 253 Gibson street, yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.The services were conducted by Rev. Arthur Barber, pastor of Trinity Congregational church of Lawrence.Mr. and Mrs. George E. Burns sang appropriate selections.Highland council 970, Royal Arcanum, was represented by a delegatiion composed of Charles E. Stuart, A.M. Huntoon, N.D. Hilt and H.E. Montgomery.The bearers were Messrs. Walter L. Hall, William P. Atwood, Edward L. Childs, Alanson Gray, Geo F. Parsons and James Kay. Burial was in the family lot in the Edson cemetery.The funeral arrangements were in charge of Mr. Roland W. Black under the direction of Undertaker George W. Healey.
