Christakes Family 1900 Sparta, Greece to Lincoln, Nebraska

Hello,

I am interested in information in regards to my great-grandfather John Christakes who emigrated to the US in 1900. He was born in 1889 in the hills behind Sparta, there is now a village called Santo Dimitrius near where they lived. In Greece, our last name is Christakis, but we believe that this was changed on his US entry.

Any information or connections are very, very appreciated!!
