Costakis, Samos Island, Marathokambos, Greece

Still trying to find more information on John Costakis who immigrated to the U.S. in 1910. He was born in Marathokambos, Samos Island, Greece/Turkey in 1883. He graduated from college in France with a degree in Horticulture. The other day I found an article online that he had written in 1923 in which he mentioned that prior to immigrating to the U.S. he was foreman of a 14,000 acre farm in Abyssinia (now Ethiopia). He and his wife are considered pioneers of Pasco County, Florida; he started the first cannery in the county and his wife was a postmistress. If you have any bit of information on our ancestor that you could share, it would be greatly appreciated.
