DRACUT -- Pota "Paula" (Arvanites) Dabilis, of Dracut, died Friday evening, at Lowell General Hospital.

She was the wife of the late John T. Dabilis, who died in June of 2004.

Paula will be greatly missed by her daughter, Constance V. "Tina" Dabilis of Dracut; two sisters, Jean Cutelis of Dracut, and Katie Darke and her husband, Bill of Groveland; her nephew and godson, James Cutelis of Tewksbury and his children, Audrey and Evan; a nephew, Christopher Cutelis and his wife, Miriam of Washington, D.C., and their children, Luke and Nora; a niece, Cindy Roberson and her husband, Donald of Gladwyne, PA and their children, Zachery and Trevor; a niece, Susan (Cutelis) Burke and her husband, James of Dracut and their daughter, Alexandra; a nephew, Christopher Darke and his wife, Karen of Groveland and their children, Rachel and Benjamin; a nephew William Darke and his wife, Diane of Groveland and their children, Chloe, Tyne, and Kai; a nephew, John Darke and his wife, Lisa of Columbus, Ohio and their daughters, Tessa and Ella; a goddaughter, Presbytera Alexandra Rizos and her husband, Reverend Peter Rizos of Lowell.

Paula was born in Dracut, the daughter of the late Demetrios C. and the late Vasilo (Sigalos) Arvanites.

She was a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, and a member of the Philoptochos Society.

She was the sister of the late Christos D. Arvanites, and sister-in-law of the late Arthur Cutelis.

DABILIS -- In Lowell, May 14, 2010, at Lowell General, Mrs. Pota "Paula" (Arvanites) Dabilis, of Dracut. Her Funeral Service will take place at the HOLY TRINITY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery. Those wishing may make contributions to American Friends of the Blind in Greece c/o Atty Thomas Kalperis, 63 County Road North Falmouth, MA 02556 or to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St., Lowell, MA 01852 or to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 1168 Mammoth Road, Dracut, MA 01826. Arrangements by the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME -- (978 or 866) 458-8768.
