He was born April 13, 1885 at “Metelin” Greece (I wonder if that could be Mytilene, Lesbos?). Person listed as someone who would always know registrant’s address was Mr. Gus Boutouris, also listed at 12 S. Warren. Reports of Deaths of American Citizens Abroad, 1963-1974 shows Speros Zanetos died in Athens on 1 January 1973 at 21:30 hour, age 87 years, 8 months, 18 days. He was retired, became a US citizen on 5 January 1933 and his last US address was 81 E. McFarLen Street, Dover, NJ. Cause of death arteriosclerotic heart trouble. He was buried at cemetery of Kallithea, Attica, Greece, Grave No. 11, 341st Sector. There was also a sentence saying local law allows remains to be disinterred after expiration of 3 years and removed to a permanent purchased lot or to a mortuary chapel. His personal effects were listed as in custody of Mrs. Ignatia Loukidou, daughter., 8 Alkminis Str., Kallithea, Athens, Greece. He was listed as residing with his wife: Mrs Maria Sp. Zanetos, Levadias & Ath. Diakou Str., Halandri, Attica, Greece. Under Other Known Relatives was Michael Sp. Zanetos, 81 E. McFarlen Str., Dover, NJ, son.
