Looking for information on any of the above names from Gorani or Xirokampion District or Sparti. My grantfather, Lykourgos Anastsiuos MEROPOULIS, born Gorani 1893; arrived New York 1902. His parents: Anastsiuos P. MEROPOULIS born 1838 married Athena LIOUNNIS from Kotsatyna. They had 5 children: 1. Eleni; 2. Lykourgos; 3. Sotyrios; 4. Panagiatis; 5. Elias. Eleni remained in Greece but all the brothers immigrated to USA and then Canada. Eleni married Giorgios VLOYIANITIS; 4 children: Athena marr. Michael VANAKARIOS; Dimitrios marr. Nafsika ??; Artemis marr Father Athanasios Chamberas; Sotirios marr. Metaxia VLITAS. Parents of Anastsiuos P. are unknown; siblings: Father David & possibly another brother G. P.
Athena LIOUNNIS' mother's maiden name was: ARBOUZIS.
