My Greaves come from Radford, Nottingham. My 2 x great grandfather, Henry Greaves b. 1838, married Eliza Castles b. ca 1841, who was born in Carlton.
Henry was the son of John Greaves and grandson of Thomas Greaves, both of Radford.
My great grandfather, Arthur Greaves b. ca 1863, son of Henry, brought his family to the Unites States ca 1900. Unfortunately he died about this time, and we are not sure of the details. My grandmother was his daughter, Miriam Greaves b. ca 26 Apr, 1900.
As you can see, my information about the Greaves is limited, but I do have a bit more and I'd like to learn all there is.
