Hi Ian, Thankyou for reply. I have given up on my Thomas Payne/pain into Australia 1843, thought he was a convict, but could not find parents names his birth cert etc etc. Thought his mother was Mary Bikerton, Father Thomas Payne had 3 children John 1821, Thomas 1823, Amelia 1825.--AMELIA married HENRY GRIEVES ???BUT a researcher in London says no im on wrong track, and has tried to help with no results. So thinking he came from MARS and was dropped to Australia in 1840s. Most likely your persons not mine either, as no greives/greaves on my families line here in OZ Thankyou SANDRA PAIN.
