I have just started researching the Greaves family, although my father Roger Greaves has been doing it for years has the following in a family line:
Henry Greaves, born in Painswick, baptised 27th March 1839, died in Ash, Surrey 25th September 1904. He married an Mary Ann in West Ham on the 21st March 1860. Mary was born in Newington 1838 and also died in Ash on the 1st October 1913. Between them they had seven children (Henry William, Edmund C, George, Aleathea, Robert Thomas, Fanny Alethea and John (Jack)). For a while the family lived in Windlesham, Surrey.
Henry Greaves would have been my Great Great Grandfather I guess.
Hopefully there is a link ...I have more info if you are interested.
