I don't know if this King relates to my family or not, but a number of my King family relatives were in the Nacogdoches area of East TX. The Mayfield is also from a distant line of mine. Isabella Houston was the daughter who married Thomas Black Haralson as her first husband, and the Haralsons are all over Caswell Co. NC. My Robert Greaves married Sophronia King, daughter of John King and Martha (Patsy) Herndon, and they lived in Daingerfield and later Hopkins County, moving to West TX for a short while. His brother, Lawrence Decatur lived in West TX and was the first sheriff of Coleman Co. (I think I have that right--didn't check my notes.)
