John Gordon Greaves and Annie King Greaves were my great grandparents. Lived in and around Portales New Mexico and also Kenna New Mexico. He was a newspaper owner/editor. One of his children, Gordon King Greaves was my grandfather. He owned and edited the Portales News Tribune for many years. One of Gordon King Greaves' daughters, Patricia Greaves McDaniel is my mother, now of Clovis, New Mexico.

There is also a book that is about the life of Annie King Greaves, Six Miles to the Windmill.
