I am interested in more information about the Georgia Greathouses. I have encountered a connection with a John Cassel/Castle through the following research done by Suzanne Forte which shows connections and an apparent marriage of a daughter of Jacob Greathouse Sr and a John Castle:

Oct. 26th 1797. r/Mar. 19th 1799. ABRAHAM PERKINS to JAMES EDWARDS, a 200 acres tract bounded by JACOB GREATHOUSE, all other ides vacant at time of survey. Granted to said Perkins, July 3, 1787.

Bounded by ABSOLOM BEDELL, JACOB GREATHOUSE, JOHN SIDWELL, JONOTHAN SELL and ROBERT MCCLUNG. (These people were all Quakers and above described tract was in Wrightsborough Township)

JOHN DAVIS, JOHN CASTLE and JACOB GREATHOUSE of Columbia County and CATHERINE JONES and ABRAHAM PERKINS of Warren County, heirs of JACOB GREATHOUSE, SR., deceased, relinquish all claim to 45 acres on waters of Germany Creek to WILLIAM HOLDER. This tract is known as Lot No. 4, in the division of estate of said deceased.
June 23rd 1801. r/Oct 26 1802. JOHN CASTLE, JACOB GREATHOUSE, CATHERINE JONES, ABRAHAM PERKINS and WILLIAM HOLDER, relinquish Lot. No. 3 in the above estate to JOHN DAVIS.
June 29th 1801. r/Oct 26th 1802. JOHN DAVIS, JOHN CASTLE, JACOB GREATHOUSE, ABRAHAM PERKINS and WILLIAM HOLDER, relinquish to NATHAN JONES of Warren County in right of his wife Catherine, Lot No. 5 in above estate.
July 23rd 1801. r/Aug 3 1802. JOHN DAVIS, JACOB GREATHOUSE and WILLIAM HOLDER of Columbia County; CATHERINE JONES and ABRAHAM PERKINS of Warren County, all distributees of JACOB GREATHOUSE, deceased, relinquish to JOHN CASTLE, one of the heirs, 50 acres, part of estate of the late Greathouse.
Jan 5th 1802. r/Mar 11th 1802. ABRAHAM PERKINS of Warren County, to JOHN KNIGHT for $100, sells 150 acres on Germany Creek, part of a grant made to JACOB GREATHOUSE, also 20 acres adj.
March 15th 1802. r/same date. JOHN CASTLE, JOHN DAVIS, JACOB GREATHOUSE and WILLIAM HOLDER of Columbia County and CATHERINE JONES of Warren County, heirs and distributees of JACOB GREATHOUSE, deceased, sign quit-claim to 45 acres in favor of ABRAHAM PERKINS, also an heir.
