OBITUARY OF
CADLE, CLARICE "PEGGY"
September 23, 2007
Clarice "Peggy" Cadle, age 65 of Wileyville, West Virginia, passed away Friday, September 21, 2007, at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 19, 1941, in Pine Grove, WV, the daughter of the late Thomas Wayne Greathouse and her birth mother, Florence Clark Greathouse. Peggy was a retired medical secretary and a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and her hobbies were: quilting, crocheting, flower gardening, and needlepoint. She was preceded in death by a brother Kerry Greathouse and a sister Jean Donnan. Surviving is her husband of 48 years "Ernie" Howard Cadle, her mother Gladys Greathouse of Newton Falls; daughters: Karen (Rob) Swauger of Rootstown, Kathy (Dennis) Lockhart of Ravenna, Darla Cadle of Deerfield; son: Duane (Becky) Cadle of Berlin Center; brothers: Tom Greathouse of Dayton, Bob Brooks of Ft. Myers, FL; sister Elaine Greathouse of Shadyside; also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where services will be officiated by Reverend David Keeney on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at West Cemetery in Palmyra.
