Thank you SO much for the information. It cleared up a burning question that I had concerning information on a census I have. Marshall and his line are not actually in my line of Greathouses. I was trying to find information on him for my Uncle Eugene Foster who was married to Tressa Donohoe. Tressa was the daughter of Glada Greathouse, who I am assuming was adopted by Marshall after her married Rosa. So Glada was actually a Tanner by blood?
I do have Greathouses's in my genealogy, by blood. Benjamin Greathouse is my GG Grandfather. He had a daughter, Dora Delcie who married Theodore Lang Bartlett. Thay had my G Grandmother Dorcas Louisa Bartlett. She married Francis Clay Foster. Thay had my Grandfather Frank Clay Lang Foster. He married Nell Ruth Goff and they had my mother, April Lynn Foster. She married David Wayne Tolbert and they had me, Yvonne Tolbert. No middle Name!!!
Thanks again for the info. I'd like to keep in touch. Maybe we have a common line of Greathouses.
