I hope this is a nice Xmas present for you.
Marshall Greathouse was my mom's grandfather, my great grandfather. She was Wanda Greathouse and her father was Charles Gallatin.
Marshall was born in 1864 in Roane Co., W.Va. the 4th. of 6 children; Mary E., Clarinda, Viola, Marshall, Almeda, and William Everett. He was marrieed 1st. to Colombia Ratliff and had 4 children; Charles Gallatin, Opal, May, and Carl (who died shortly after birth in 1899). After Colombia died he married Rosa Tanner Goff in 1905. Glada was a 2 year old child by Rosa's 1st marriage (Tanner). Rosa was born in 1865 and died in 1960. When Marshall died he left 11 acres to Rosa.
A little factoid: Imagine This Today! CG and his wife May had Colombia's mother (Caroline Montondon) living with them!
