I believe James D. is the son of Floretta (Flora) Greathouse.Her parents were George Greathouse and Catherine Sells. Our notes for Catherine say "Catherine's family owned Sells Floto Circus, which is where she met George who was working as a blacksmith there. She was a deaf-mute. Source, Annette Norman." We have quite a bit of information on this family.
