Grayson Family of Loudoun, Virginia

I am trying to get information on my family who lived in Loudoun, Virginia in the 1800's.

If you have any books or other material on the Grayson Families I would like to know.

I checked the birth records at the Virginia Library in Richmond but was not able to find anything on the following.

I am trying to find information on them in the 1800's in Virginia.

I just recently learned of the name of Redd Grayson believed to be the husband of Mandy Grayson. I have not checked him out.I was also given "Wabe" as his name.

I was told that he was an Indian Chief. My grandmother, Blanche Grayson, said that she was Cherokee. I have no records of this information.

The following is all the information that I have on them.

Redd Grayson born about 1840

Mandy Grayson born about 1845

Lewis Grayson born about 1876

Thomas Grayson born about 1878

Harry Grayson born about 1880

Mary Grayson born about 1882

Lilly Grayson born about 1884

Blanche Grayson born about 1890

There were other children, I do not know the names

I was told they lived in Loudoun, Virginia.

Mandy Grayson may have been married to a Payne also in the 1860's. She had a son named Samuel Payne on the 1900 Census.

Please advise.

Thanking you kindly in advance.
