Hi, I really could use some help trying to please figure this out. I'm doing a family genealogy for a friend. I have this amount of data, but do not have anything concrete on this man and his family. Plus she wants to have it traced back to England. Can anyone please HELP! George Washington Grayson ? He had a son Col Wm Grayson who was born after he died. This man was an aide to George Washington our President of the United States. They were very close friends. Col. Grayson would often go to Mt. Vernon and hunt and dine with the President. Col Wm. I guess helped the President a lot and he was given in Ky. 700,00 acres of land but the col died crossing the Ohio river and never got to use his grant for land. I would love to know about his life, his family and of course, please if anyone knows about the past Grayson's. I guess there was even rumors of Native American in the family. Anything yo might know would be great. Col Grayson I thin was born about 1803 May of married two times. First to a Sarah Ward Ellington they had 8 children?? and then they divorced after about 20 to 25 years. If correct? Then he married Elizabeth Roe or Rowe and they moved to Platt Co, Mo. about 1837 then to Ks. abt. 1854 . I was given this data it is a lot but I have not been able thus far to learn about The Col's family? if he or anyone else was Native American and about the pedigree going back to England. I am trying to finish this for a gift and I'm stuck. Can you help? Thank you Candy
