Marion, thank you for replying to my message. Do you know, who the William Grayson (that carried chains ) father was? The trouble, I have, is that John b ABT 1665 Maybe had a Wm. Then Ben had a Col William b ABT 1726 then he had a Wm & I think he didn't marry Then Ambrose Grayson b ABT 1700 had a Capt William Then William Grayson who had Joel b 1777 also had a William (he would be to young.) You see my confusion. Also is it possible that Frances could have been a second wife? I have a wife for the Williams plus children. The only Reuben I have was born ABT 1743 child of Ambrose Grayson & Alice Sharp James Grayson Stevens He was the last of 9 In my notes, I have he moved to Logan KY. Thank you again
